Now Avail: Lindsey Buckingham, SOLO ANTHOLOGY

It seems like it was only a few days ago that we were celebrating Lindsey Buckingham’s birthday (because it was), but now here we are again with another post about the legendary Fleetwood Mac guitarist. This time, however, it’s with a gift for his fans: the first-ever anthology of his solo work.

SOLO ANTHOLOGY: THE BEST OF LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM is a 3-CD set which contains songs from his six studio albums as a solo artist:

• GO INSANE
• OUT OF THE CRADLE
• UNDER THE SKIN
• GIFT OF SCREWS
• SEEDS WE SOW

In addition, the compilation also includes material from his 2017 collaborative album with Christine McVie as well as songs that he’s done for various soundtracks, including National Lampoon’s Vacation and Back to the Future. Additionally, the set features a pair of Fleetwood Mac songs performed by Buckingham during his solo tours (“Tusk” and “Go Your Own Way”), but arguably the best bonus for Buckingham fans is the inclusion of two previously unreleased new songs, “Hunger” and “Ride This Road.”

The 3-CD set is available now – it’s also available digitally, in case you were concerned – and there’ll also be a single-disc abridged version for casual fans who might be overwhelmed by the full set. Lastly, for you vinyl lovers, we regret that we can’t tell you that you can pick up the 6-LP version yet, but keep your eyes open: it’s coming on November 23.
