In The News: Graham Nash, “Teach Your Children”

Last week, Ronald Brownstein, a writer for The Atlantic, chatted with Graham Nash about the similarities and differences between the social unrest and activism of the 1960s and the way that the kids today are responding to the various goings-on in the government and the country as a whole in 2018.

“I wrote ‘Teach Your Children’ because we have much to teach them,” said Nash. “Conversely, I believe we as parents have much to learn from them as well.”

In turn, Nash teamed with artist / animator Jeff Scher to put together a new video for the song, one which features a mixture of black-and-white images of iconic moments of the ‘60s protests and color images of today’s most notable protests.

“I think that Jeff Scher did a wonderful job of animating my lyrics and positioning the song in a contemporary setting,” said Nash. You can check out the video right here:
