Bette Midler Teams With 50 Cent

A musical odd couple turned up in Queens, NY this month: Bette Midler and 50 Cent. Midler leads a New York Restoration Project to revitalize public spaces and was on hand with the rapper for the opening of a new community garden in his hometown. Congrats To George Benson

Jazz guitar great George Benson was recently named a 2009 Jazz Master by the National Endowment For The Arts -- the nation's highest jazz honor. In addition to his instrumental wizardry, Benson has also logged a number of vocal pop successes during his three decades worth of recording, most of which can be heard on Rhino's Greatest Hits CD.
