John Stewart with Nick Venet
Nick Venet was quite a famous producer -- he brought The Beach Boys to Capitol Records, he produced the Stone Poneys. This was when he was producing John Stewart. He was one of their top A&R/producer guys. A legendary fellow, who left us several years ago, sadly.
