Ronnie Hawkins
Ronnie Hawkins was the guy whose band was The Band. They were called The Hawks and later they ended up playing for Bob Dylan and became famous in their own right -- Robbie Robertson and all those guys. But this was the granddaddy of it all up in Canada, Ronnie Hawkins, who was like a big folk singer/country guy. I spent a couple of days up there doing pictures for the cover of a CD that he did in Canada. I remember hanging out at his house while he mowed the lawn on one of those big power movers that you'd sit on and drive around.
