Jimmy Buffett Sets Sail
This is a picture of Jimmy Buffett in the ’80s. Jimmy was a friend of mine and I’d photographed him before for publicity stuff, and he had some kind of a radio promotion where the top winners would fly to Florida and go on a cruise with Jimmy Buffett on his sailing boat. There were maybe 20 people (probably about ten winners, but they all got to bring somebody) who went out on the boat and spent the day. We went down to the Margaritaville store, and sailed to some little island where we had a barbeque and Jimmy played the guitar and stuff. These are some of the contest winners posing with Jimmy at the tiller there. It was a great Florida adventure.
