Frank Zappa
That is at a rehearsal on Sunset Blvd. In 1971. He and his manager Herb Cohen owned a building that was a rehearsal hall. And he was in there with The Mothers Of Invention, which at that time included my good friends Flo and Eddie -- Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan of The Turtles. They were in the band, and Mark Volman was my neighbor up in Laurel Canyon, so I went along to this rehearsal and took these pictures. We were there to do some group shots, which we did and I got to hang out and take a few candids of Frank.
