Richard Harris
Jimmy Webb did the famous “Macarthur Park” song for Richard Harris and I did the pictures for that album. And then Jimmy wrote a follow-up album, called The Yard Went On Forever. So Jimmy and I flew to Pennsylvania to take pictures of Richard Harris where he was filming The Molly Malones with Sean Connery; it was a coal mining movie. I got to spend a whole week there on the movie set in Pennsylvania. Every day after they were done filming, we’d go out – Jimmy Webb, Richard, and I – and take pictures so we’d have something for the album. This was not used for the album, but it’s a great picture of him. I got to sit and eat dinner every night with Richard Harris and Sean Connery and listen to them tell each other stories!
