Martha Davis
This is Martha Davis from The Motels in the early ‘80s. The Motels were pretty big around then, especially around here. One day I went out to Martha’s house to do photos of her. She came out wearing this red outfit and there happened to be this red Japanese fan in the garage. We put that up and she went and got her green chameleon (she had three pet chameleons). And the colors were so mind-blowing; I just love that picture. She is a fantastic lady, and I did many pictures of The Motels on quite a number of videos; that’s how we got to be good friends. Never used this for anything, it was just for the fun of it.
