![]() Tim BuckleyThis shot of Tim Buckley was done on The Monkees' set. I knew Tim Buckley real well from the folk scene; in fact I played harmonica on one of his songs, "Once I Was." It was even used in a movie, and I played harmonica on it because my pal Jerry Yester produced the album and he was one of the members of the Modern Folk Quartet. So when he showed up one day on The Monkees' set about a year later we were good friends. This was a particular Monkees show that was filmed at the outdoor ranch, the Columbia ranch. We spent a lot of down time hanging out and talking and stuff and I took a bunch of portraits of him. ::next |
