This was on a CSNY tour in the Midwest. I believe we were at the Radisson Hotel in Minneapolis. I was in David's room, kind of hanging out, listening to him talk to Bob Dylan on the telephone. Right after that, the door opened and Graham Nash threw him this little stuffed flag gun – it was an American flag, like a little soft pillow, in the shape of a pistol. And he said "Hey, David, here. Somebody made this for you, some fan." He threw it over on the bed, and David was sitting right on the bed here and he was smoking. And as he was smoking, he put the gun to his head, and I just clicked that picture. I mean it kind of looks like it was all set up in a studio or something, but it's not. It was just one moment in the hotel room.
