Paste Premiere: Wilco's "Myrna Lee"

When they originally emerged from the ashes of Uncle Tupelo in 1994, no one could have foreseen how much of an impact Wilco would have on the world of music or how popular they’d end up being. Frankly, we’re as surprised as you are…and we’ve been in their corner from the very beginning!

While Jeff Tweedy and company continue to carry on making new music and touring the world and elsewhere, Rhino is taking a look back at the beginning of the band’s career, revisiting Wilco’s first two albums, A.M. (1995) and BEING THERE (1996)…and when we say we’re reissuing them, we mean that we’re remastering them and expanding them to add rare and unreleased music. A.M. will feature eight unreleased bonus tracks, BEING THERE will offer 15 unreleased bonus tracks, a 20-song live performance from 1996, and four tracks played by the band on KRCW.
