Led Zeppelin's Mothership Lands on 180-Gram Vinyl

It's been a good year or two to be a Led Zeppelin fan, as those of you who've been picking up our deluxe editions of their back catalog are already well aware, but this year's not quite over yet, and we've still got one last little surprise for you: the band's latest greatest-hits compilation is getting the 180-gram vinyl reissue treatment just in time for the holidays.

Mothership first made landfall in November 2007, its arrival coinciding with the band's entire catalog finally turning up on iTunes and other digital-music storefronts, but it's continued to be a strong seller because it's about as strong a summary of the band's career as one could hope to find in a two-disc set. Now that it's on vinyl, however, it has been transformed into a four-LP set, but the selections are the same, and the sound is staggeringly good. But, hey, don't just take our word for it: pick up a copy for yourself on November 20!
