Dr. John, née Mac Rebennack, released his 30th full-length late last year, Ske-Dat-De-Dat: The Spirit of Satch. In contrast to 2012's Locked Down (which was a distinct return to the doctor's hoodoo alter-ego, the Night Tripper) - Spirit finds the Dr. saluting jazz founding father Louis Armstrong.
